Seat belt instructions

From a Southwest Airlines employee: "Welcome aboard Southwest Flight 245 to Tampa. To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seat belt; and, if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised."

Pilot Gripe Sheet

After every flight Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet". The Gripe sheet tells ground crew mechanics about aircraft problems. The mechanics correct the problems and document their repairs on the form which is then reviewed by the pilot before the next flight. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas' pilots and the solutions recorded by maintenance engineers.

(P = Problem logged by pilot.)
(S = Solution and action taken by mechanics.)

P: Aircraft handles funny.
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious.

P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
